Finally an update!

So this is what I spent about 4 hours doing two nights ago. It's an entry for our school's competition to design the poster for our upcoming production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet... except our version is put forward a few hundred years, and is set in space! :D The long and short of it is... I won the poster competition, and felt so proud that I had to put it up on dA! :D (After I'd slept, that is... I stayed up til about 2 the night before the deadline :P)

Time: about 4-6 hours on and off
Model: My gorgeous little sister
Rose: from our garden (b*stard thorns cut my face!! D:)
Nebula: Hubble Space Telescope [link]
Medieval Dress: Into Camelot, Fremantle
Program: Photoshop CS2 for layering and general design, Photoshop Elements for paintovers and text
Font: Freeware, called StarJediHollow, from [link]
Comet: created from scratch using default brushes
Planets: created using own texture, as at dinyctis' tutorial [link]

I say the world's in denial, because CHEESE obviously owns. People just repress that knowledge because if it were to be given the title of Most Awesome food... the world would end. Srsly. :noes

Haha, well, I thought I had, but it wasn't officially announced or anything :P until the casual announcement where Ms Lambert was helping me pin it up after school, and someone goes "so have you decided who won?" and she goes "yes, this one that we've just put up :D" :dance:
